Hello and welcome back to the fifth episode of The Daily Pomme! I hope you all enjoyed last weeks episode. This weeks will be about our trip to Norway and what has happened since the last Pomme. Enjoy!
Today we are driving to Denmark. We set off at our usual time and drove through Germany until about half past one when we stopped for lunch, still in Germany. I had a sandwich. Worlds most exciting lunch huh? Anyway, we reset off after about half an hour and soon crossed into Denmark. After crossing into Denmark, we drove for another hour before arriving at our campsite. We chocked up then went on a little reccy down the beach. We found a park and went on a giant inflatable trampoline. We then made our way back to Sven. Mum and dad got dinner ready while my sisters and I read. I read Spirit Legacy by E. E. Holmes. We then went and had dinner which was this really nice rice curry. After dinner the twins went and did the dishes while Ruby and I wrote our journals. The twins came back and we all went and had showers. After showering we went back to Sven, brushed teeth and hair then got into bed.
Today we are driving to Denmark. We set off at about 9:30 a.m. and drove until we stopped for lunch at 12:30. On the drive, we read, we played on the iPad, and we drew stuff. When we stopped for lunch, I had a delicious sandwich, but then I made myself a not-very-nice sandwich, and then I had a nice sandwich. We drove for ages, and I read the whole time. When we arrived, we looked around, set up the beds, did the washing up, and then played in the park. We made lots of games, including worm, edge running, and line bouncing. Then we had to go back to Sven for dinner which was rice curry mmmmmm………Then we did the washing up and went to bed.
Ruby Tuesday 😊
Today is a rest day. At least that’s what I’ve been told seeing as we didn’t do any actual resting. We went on a bike ride to Broager, the nearest town. It took us about one hour to get there. We got there and walked around town. We then went to a park, still in Broager, and had lunch while filming the finishing touches for the video we were working on. After lunch we rode back a different way then the way we came. It took us a bit longer. We almost got lost on the way, but a lady on a bike with a trailer rode past and just happened to be a mobile tourist information! How cool/weird is that? Anyway she told us the way home so we set off and went home. When we got back to Sven my sisters went to the park and I read. Half an hour later it was dinner. For dinner we had spaghetti. After dinner Ruby and I did the dishes. We then went back and read ‘till lights out.
Today, we are having a rest day (Sort of). We woke up, had breakfast, did the washing up, and went to play in the park. We played all our games, and then we went on a bike ride. It was freezing! I was wearing leggings, a t-shirt and a fleece, and when we arrived at the village, Lily gave me her fleece, and I still had goose bumps! Lily was in a t-shirt and jeans, and she wasn’t cold! Lily gave me a piggyback, and I got a little warmer. We looked at the church that had two steeples. It was cool. Then we stopped for a picnic, which was tomato sandwich. Mmmm….. Then we rode back home after looking around the place, and we were lost, when a lady with a box of tourist information on her bike came and helped us. We rode home, and, as exhausted as we were, we managed to find the energy to play in the park. Then we went to have dinner, which was spaghetti. It was tasty. Then we washed up and went to bed.
Ruby Tuesday 😊
Today we are driving to Copenhagen. We set off at the usual time. We drove through Denmark and went over this 10-mile-long bridge. After an hour of driving we stopped for lunch. After about half an hour we reset off. After another two hours of driving we arrived in Copenhagen. We chocked up and went on a reccy. Then we went back to the van and hung around while mum made dinner. We then ate dinner which was pasta bolognaise. After dinner we went back to the van and read for a bit then had lights out.
Today we are driving to Copenhagen, it was a long drive it was pretty boring. The drive was uneventful we read, we drew, we played on the iPad. When we stopped for lunch, it was a relief to stretch our legs… when we started driving again it was very boring, as my kindle had no battery. When we arrived, we set up the chock’s ,and looked around. After we did the washing and played in the park until dinner. Dinner was pasta mmm… it was good then we did the washing up and went to play on the swings. Then we went to bed and read a bit, then had lights out.
Ruby Tuesday 😊
Beware football spoiler England Vs Croatia
Today we are having another so called ‘rest day’ during which we shall explore the wonders of Copenhagen. We set off at about eleven o’clock and rod to a park where a jazz fest was being held. We had our lunch there.
Then we rode around for a while ‘till we found a nice spot next to the river where we stopped, had some chocolate and checked the map
We then rode until Olivia had a bit of a crash, so we parked our bikes and walked through the streets of Copenhagen.
We then walked along the riverbank until we came upon a little fountain where upon seeing that other people were dipping their feet in said fountain promptly hastened to do the same.
We then walked even further along the riverbank until we came upon a statue of the Little Mermaid. Fun Fact: Did you know that the author of The Little Mermaid, Hans Christian Anderson, lived in Copenhagen?
On the way back to our trusty steeds (our bikes), we actually passed his house! We then got our bikes and rode back home stopping at a supermarket on the way. When we arrived my sisters and I went to have showers while mum and dad made dinner which was homemade tortilla. We then rushed to the van to watch the football match England Vs Croatia. Sadly, England lost 2-1 so Croatia will be the one to play France in the finals. I personally want France to win. When the match was over we had lights out.
Today, we are not driving. We are riding to the town of Copenhagen. We rode to a jazz festival, and picnicked there. Then we got up and danced to the music, but I got a headache, so we left to our bikes. We rode to a river, where we left our bikes, and walked around. It was then that I twisted my ankle painfully. We walked back to the bikes, rode for a bit, and then stopped further down the river . We had some chocolate, and then we rode until Tate fell over. We walked to a fountain, and dipped our feet in. It was very refreshing. Next, we walked to a rock with the little mermaid statue on it, and then we rode home and had dinner: Tortilla and salad.
Ruby Tuesday 😊
Today we are leaving Denmark for the fine lands of Sweden. We set off a bit later then usual so by the time we set off it was about twelve o’clock. We drove for about one hour before stopping for lunch. While driving we had already crossed into Sweden which consisted of a 4.5 km long tunnel followed immediately by a 7.8 km long bridge until finally we were in Sweden. Anyway, back to lunch. We ate lunch then reset off. We drove for another two hours before reaching our destination; a small campsite next to a giant lake. We then went out to dinner at the campsites restaurant. I had spaghetti bolognaise. After dinner we went back to the van and I read and wrote this then had lights out
Today, we are driving to Sweden. We set off at about 12:00, and stopped for lunch at about 13:00. On the drive, I read my book, and wrote in my diary. When we stopped for lunch, we played in the park, and had sandwiches. We set off again, and I tried (And failed) to go to sleep. When we arrived at the campsite at about 16:00, we looked around for a pitch. We found one, which was opposite to the park, which had a cool thing in it, that was… well, I can’t really explain it, but it was awesome. Me Liv and Leg played on it until dinner. For dinner, we went to a restaurant, and I had pie with salad. After dinner, we played in the park for a bit, and then we read, and had lights out.
Ruby Tuesday 😊
Today we are having another so called ‘rest day’. I’m starting to realize that ‘rest day’ is code for ‘biking day’. Anyway, we set off at about half past eleven and rode down to a smaller lake next to the big lake. We rode half way around the lake then stopped for lunch on this cool looking bench. After lunch we rode around another quarter of the lake before stopping and turning around after discovering that we couldn’t go any further. So, we turned around and redid the whole thing again. We stopped at the beach and went for a quick swim. After swimming Olivia, Ruby and I decided to dig a hole so that we could bury Ruby in it. Sadly, the hole only went up to her waist. We then, after much debate on whether or not to leave Ruby there, finally decided (grudgingly) to dig her back out. We did so then rode back to Sven. When we arrived back at Sven I read, and my sisters went to the park. They came back at about nine thirty at night by which time we were ready for bed. We brushed teeth and hair then had lights out.
Today, we are riding around a lake in Jon Koping, Sweden. At first, I thought it was the massive one, but then I realised it was the much smaller version, and was very relieved. We passed a beach, and rode to the smaller like, passing the bigger lake. We stopped for a picnic, and saw this awesome bench. It was like a stretch chair. We set off again, and me and lily were laughing so much that I nearly fell off. I kid you not, I nearly fell off, it was not a figure of speech. I kid you not… I love saying that. Anyway, then we rode to the big lake again, and went swimming, well, I say swimming, but I dipped myself in fully, and jumped out again. We made ourselves sand mermaids, but then we had an idea. We dug a hole in the sand, and I stood in it, and then we kept digging. We dug until there was water going into it from the bottom. At that point, we had quite the collection of marble. I stood in it, and it was almost up to my waist. We filled the hole, and then made the sand go up to my waist. After, we rode home, up a massive hill, and had some dark chocolate (emphasis on the dark) and played in the park. Then we had dinner: risotto mmmmm…. Then we did the washing up and went to bed.
Ruby Tuesday 😊
Today we are having a driving day. We are driving to Stockholm, the capital city of Sweden since 1252. We set off at the usual time and drove through the Swedish countryside for a while before stopping for lunch. After lunch we drove for another two and a half hours before finally arriving at our campsite. We chocked up then went on a reccy, stopping at the shop to get some delicious cinnamon rolls. We then came back to the van and lounged around ‘til dinner. We had dinner which was another rice curry. After dinner we brushed teeth and hair then got in bed. I read and wrote this then had lights out.
Today we are driving to Stockholm, Sweden. We left at about 10:00, stopped for lunch (where we had a sandwich) at about 12:30, and arrived campsite at around 15:30. On the drive I read and played on the iPad. When we arrived, we looked around. At the lake there were thousands of people. We walked, should I say stumbled, around them, then came back to the van (after shopping at the shop), and did the Pomme. I read for a few minutes, or should I say, hours and then I wrote in my diary. We had some pastries and then sat around until dinner. For dinner we had rice curry with cooked peanuts! (blerk)! Then we washed up and went to bed.
Bye, Bye, Bye
I hope you enjoyed this weeks version of the Pomme and are looking forward to the next one which will come out next weekend. until then, mes amigos!
